• On August 9, the series «Châteaux de Paille» was exhibited in a large traditional Mongolian tent at the Contemplation Festival's «Nuit des Etoiles». This event took place on the grounds of the observatory in Tauxigny, a town in the Loire Valley.
The series can be seen on the website :
www.jacques-moury-beauchamp.com
in the chapter : «CHÂTEAUX DE PAILLE»
• The series «Fraternités», with poems by Martine Le Coz, was shown from August 14th to 17th as part of the «Jardins Mystiques» exhibits in and around the city of Amboise. For the newly renovated Domaine des Thômeaux in Mosnes, this was a first experiment at hosting exhibits. Others will certainly follow.
The series is visible on the website :

VISITS
During our latest visit to New York City, in late September, we made substantial progress on a joint project with Queensborough Community College.
We also discovered newly created galleries in the Lower East Side and in Williamsburg (Brooklyn). This is a far more innovative art scene than what can be seen in the neighborhood of Chelsea.

We also visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art's new wing devoted to contemporary photography that was inaugurated on September 26th This is a another confirmation
that photography is now being recognized as a major art form.

At the Museum of Modern Art, the most interesting photo exhibit (the work of Richard Pare on Soviet architecture) is not to be found in Photography, but in the nearby Architecture and Design department.

After having visited more than 50 exhibits throughout the City, we saw confirmation of the currently predominant « vegetation » theme already observed on our last visit. Another frequent theme seems to emerge, that of « interiors » of all sorts, from the most miserable to the most grandiose.
